What a pleasure to see a professional craftsman at work. Martin restored 2 wooden windows that I thought were beyond hope. The work was carried out to the highest standard, with Martin explaining the various stages of repair, and techniques and materials used. Although fighting against the February weather, the window restoration was completed in good time by one of the best and caring craftsmen I have seen. I would not hesitate to recommend Traditional Window Restorations to anyone who needs this type of specialist work.

The quality of your work is to a very high standard and we would have no hesitation in calling on your services should we need them in the future. Please feel free to come back, once they have been painted, to take whatever photographs you need.
I hope your business continues to flourish.

Chippindall House is a large Grade 2 listed part Georgian part Victorian Hoyse located in Barrow Upon Soar, Leicestershire.
The 19 windows consist of vertical sliding Georgian and Victorian sashes together with horizontal Yorkshire sliding sash windows on the oldest part of the house.
The main entrance has an ornate timber porch over with inner and outer entrance doors. There are two further secondary entrance doors to the property.
Traditional Window Restoration were employed between February and March to carry out restoration works to the windows, doors and entrance porch. The works were carried out in a diligent and timely manner and within the originally agreed timescales and quoted costs. Where additional works were requested by the employer the costs was confirmed in writing by Traditional Window Restoration and works carried out during the same time period as the original works. The quality of the completed repair works is excellent and has been guaranteed for a period of seven years by Traditional Window Restoration.

I wanted to thank you for the excellent job you and your team at Traditional Window Restoration have done restoring and draft proofing our windows and doors.
It is a real treat to be able to open many of our windows and to know we have added protection against the cold this winter. If only we’d known about you in our previous home!
We have been impressed by your friendliness, tidiness and work ethic and would have no hesitation in recommending you to anyone else looking to renovate their windows. We are more than happy for your potential clients to contact us for a verbal reference on request.
